Founded in 1954, Resthaven Memorial Gardens is located in south Clarksville, TN on Highway 41-A in a rapidly developing residential area of the city.  The cemetery is 35 miles northwest of downtown Nashville via Interstate-24.  Clarksville is in the Top 10 economic growth areas in the country, the fifth largest, and the fastest growing city in Tennessee.  The area population is approximately 250,000, and merges with the Ft. Campbell military community on north side of the city.  Resthaven is the only memorial park in Montgomery County, and serves 8000 owner families with 11 Gardens on 28 developed acres.  22 acres are reserved and available for future projects.  The property has an impressive 2.8 acres of highway frontage that can be developed into additional gardens or facilities.  

The Mausoleum Chapel development is a complex of buildings that include 620 complete crypts and 120 new crypts under construction.  Garden and Private Family Mausoleums are also available.  Niches are located inside the Chapel.  In 2008, Resthaven obtained licensing to provide funeral, cremation, and insurance services that make it the only combination operation in the area. Bronze Memorial and pre-need sales programs are active.  The current annual burials are between 175-200, which is approximately 25% of the County total.  Over $1,200,000 is held in audited Trust Funds. Resthaven owns the equipment to manufacture Lawn Crypts, and they are produced onsite.  Clarksville has developed an exceptional industrial base, now featuring a $1.2billion Corning plant under construction.  The city attributes include Austin Peay State University that has provided college education for over 180 years.  A new hospital has just opened to support community healthcare.
